Gollum is the faithful little guy who spent three books (well maybe parts of four) doggedly trying to re-capture Sauron's ring and return it to him.
My gollum is the kids Windows 95 machine (it doesn't run NT because most of the games would die if it did). It has been added to the local net so the kids can send email to their friends (and to Bill Clinton??) and so they can look at the Web (so far it has just been www.disney.com and www.nick.com -- that I know about). We will see where this goes.
