Balrog is the dedicated defender of Sauron who tried vainly to keep Gandolf and his band of mauraders outside of the kingdom of Mordor where they belonged.
My balrog is my wife's brand new 300 MHz Pentium II running NT. It is being used as a test bed for NaturallySpeaking from Dragon Systems. It has a hefty 128 MBytes of memory and also mounts disks from sauron.
